Sustainable solutions to climate crisis:
Solutions is a photo-project, which creates possitive utopia, by showing explicit solutions against climate change. For this purpose, the documentary photographer Tina Eichner travelled to different projects in Germany and the whole world, with her camera – to show which possibilites already exist today, to act against the climate crisis. The Balinese family company Putu’s Bamboo Straws for example produces sustainable straws, made from bamboo. Berlin artist Isabel Ott creates art made of trash. Family Sanne build a solar awning on their balcony and the eco village 7 Linden strives a holistic sustainable lifestyle.
The presented scopes and possibilities are talking about different areas of our society, like mobility, renewable energies, protest-movements, recycling economy, education, sustainable building, biodiversity, consumption and social change. They provide positive impulses and appeal, to brake out of routines to become an active part of the change, towards a green future.
The Book is richly illustrated and created by Tina Eichner, Ina Friebe, Linda Loreen Loose, Jonas Wahmkow, Clara Grunwald and Judith Weber. With impressive photos, Solutions shows that a lot is possible and realizable.
